Chapin 3-Liter (0.8-gallon) Ice Melt & Salt Hand Crank Spreader

Take a bite out of winter with Chapin’s 3-Liter hand crank ice melt spreader. It features a rugged poly scoop with a toothed edge for cutting through ice melt/halite making scooping easy. The thumb-controlled gate adjustment and trigger gate control are designed to handle the ice-melt smoothly, enclosed gears keep debris out. The impeller is designed to provide an even spread pattern. Great for steps, sidewalks and areas a larger spreader can't go. Not recommended with rock salt, sand or sand mixes.

• 3-Liter (0.8-gallon) hopper: large poly hopper with tooth-edge; you can easily scoop ice melt/halite to fill the hopper instead of pouring in product, quick with less mess or waste
• Thumb-controlled gate adjustment: adjust the gate opening with one hand while still cranking the handle and spreading with the other; you don’t need to stop and adjust the gate, you can just keep on walking and the impeller is designed to deliver an even spread pattern
• Large handle: easy to grip and fill with one hand; accommodates small and large-sized hands and the easy-crank handle is large enough to grip if you’ve got gloves on
• Poly construction: it’s lightweight and easy to clean; less metal means less wear and tear and corrosion, poly is protected from ice melt/halite and other harsh winter particles
• Portable: keep it on top of your ice melt bucket or on a shelf, store it in a cabinet when not in use or keep it in your trunk; it doesn’t take up much space and you can pull it out when you need it
